WHO WE ARE
Mersenneware is a new startup IT company. We develop software and tools to help researchers and the community of device owners work together to solve the “big problems” in mathematics, medicine, and science. Our goal is to realize the potential of the largest and fastest-growing source of computing capacity in the world: the billions of cell phones and other personal smart technology that lays dormant more than 80% of the time.
OUR MISSION
Mersenneware is leveraging this vast ecosystem of autonomous personal computing devices to create a new kind of smart infrastructure; an analytics cloud; a computational environment capable of performing tasks normally requiring massively parallel processing or even quantum computing devices. This approach, sometimes called “fog” or radically decentralized computing, allows our partners and customers to bring our research partners unprecedented levels of power and flexibility.
